1. Data Controller

2. Types of Data Collected
The application collects the following categories of data to enable the provision of the personal budgeting service:
- Account Data: Username and password (the latter is stored in encrypted form).
- Financial Data: Transaction history voluntarily entered by the user (date, amount, category, description).
- Technical Identifiers: Unique User ID generated by the server at the time of registration to associate data with the user.
3. Purposes of Processing
Data is collected exclusively for the following purposes:
- Service Provision: To provide budget management features, including data storage, calculation of totals, and visualization of expense history.
- Authentication: To manage user authentication and ensure secure and private access to the account.
The application does not use data for marketing purposes, profiling, or transfer to third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Transfer
The application architecture relies on cloud services to ensure data persistence. Data entered by the user does not reside permanently on the device but is transmitted via a secure connection (HTTPS) to:
- MongoDB Atlas: Database provider used for the secure storage of transactions and user data.
- Vercel / Render: Serverless hosting platforms managing the APIs and backend logic of the application.
These providers act as Data Processors regarding the infrastructure and operate in compliance with international security standards.
